Corruption

WARNING: Corrupting is a one way street. Once corrupted, you can not uncorrupt your dino! Before corrupting, remove saddle and empty inventory of all items you wish to keep as they will get deleted.

In addition to regular drops upon death you also get  Corrupted Nodule. These are important as you need to feed one  Corrupted Nodule to your corrupted creature every hour or it goes wild, killing everything.

Corrupted creatures can not be bred.

To ride use the same saddle as the un-corrupted variant.

Behavior

Extremely aggressive, often found flying around mountainous areas, or the dragon trenches looking for a fight. They have 10x stats of regular wyvern. They are extremely fast and attack to almost every dino around them.

Combat

General

Wyvern for all intents and purposes is the quintessential flying dragon; a very large dragon. Wyverns have massive wings with the same design mechanisms as bats but the grace and strength of the Condor. However, they also have a very long tail with; on all the tail acts as ballast and makes them highly maneuverable. The Wyvern in the wild is highly territorial and fierce in defending its perceived airspace and its nest. Beware before their Fire attacks because they can kill you easily just with fire! They have also strong bites and they are surprisingly fast. Don't try to kill them if you haven't got own Apex Wyvern or better wyvern.

Strategy

Apex wyvern is very difficult to fight due to their attacks, speed and agressivity. Try to avoid their breath fire attack to survive a longer time.

Weaponry

You can use chain bola to immobilize them or try to narcotize and then kill them. Own Apex Wyvern is possible too.

Dangers

Apex wyvern are fast and hard to escape, their can ignite you, ussualy 1 ignition is enough to kill your Pteranodon or Argentavis. Their bit attacks are strong too.

Weakness

You can use  Alpha Tranq Dart and try to narcotize them and then kill with  Giganotosaurus,  Apex Giganotosaurus,  Alpha Giganotosaurus or  Apex Rex
