Boss Tiers

This shows the progression of the custom bosses the Primal Fear adds to your gameplay

Tier 0: Mini Bosses

This tier currently includes  Captain Black Boulder and  Artifacto the Great. These are bosses that can give special loot or tames. Upon killing these bosses they will drop their respective summoner to summon the version which can be tamed.

Tier 1: Primals

 Primal Creatures are black with a red glow around them. They also have a red mist and have custom music. These only spawn in the wild and will drop special loot and blood when killed. These creatures cannot be tamed.

Tier 2: Origins

File:Origin Creatures.png Origin Creatures are black and yellow. At night they will also glow yellow and have a yellow mist around them. These creatures also have their own custom music. They can be found in the wild or the player can create an  Origin Summons in the  Primal Smithy and summon them when they choose. These creatures drop special loot and will unlock Tek Engrams (excluding Homestead Tek Engrams). These creatures cannot be tamed.

Tier 3: Emperor and Empress

The  Celestial Indominus Emperor and  Demonic Reaper Empress fall within this category. Both can be found in the wild or summoned. When wild the Emperor can use the Celestial power up ability and the Empress will bury herself. She can be found by locating the large heat wave that is produced above her. The File:Demonic Reaper Empress Summoner.png Demonic Reaper Empress Summoner and File:Celestial Indominus Emperor Summoner.png Celestial Indominus Emperor Summoner can be made in the  Primal Smithy. Upon their deaths they have a special loot drop and unlock the corresponding File:Guardian Summons.png Guardian Summons.

Tier 4: Guardians

There are two forms of Guardians. The  Chaos Guardian is a lava based creatures with flowing textures and is ruler of the Realm of Darkness. The Spirit Guardian is a white, ghastly creature with a visible skeleton and is ruler of the Realm of Light. When summoned they have their own custom battle music. The File:Guardian Summons.png Guardian Summons can be crafted in the  Primal Smithy. Upon their deaths they have a special loot drop, unlock the coresponsinding engram to make the  Chaos Orb and the  Spirit Orb. They also have a rare chance of summoning a corresponding wyvern that is tameable.

Tier 5: Creator and Destroyer

File:Pikkon the Creator.png Pikkon the Creator is a giant flying eel boss that is extremely strong. When summoned, Pikkons appearance is teal and black, with a teal mist surrounding him with custom battle music. When engaged in a fight Pikkon can summon swarms of attack drones as minions. He also has the ability to ground flyers. He can only be summoned, the File:Pikkon the Creator Summoner.png Pikkon the Creator Summoner is made in the  Primal Smithy. Upon his death he drops special loot, unlocks the engrams for Primal Fear Tek Saddles.

File:Nova the Destroyer.png Nova the Destroyer is a Reaper based boss that is extremely strong. Dodo Reaper. Multiple custom attacks. Once down to 15% or less health, it drops a fertilized egg and gets enraged. doing 150% damage until dead. Drops Demonic Descension item, and 3 custom rocket blueprints. Can pull Celestials out of powerup mode with swarm and AOE fire it produces. Thanks Zythara for Dodo Reaper model!

Tier 6: Colossus

There are four versions of the Colossus; Caustic, Fire, Electric, and Ice. You will not find these wild and can only be summoned using the summoner made in the  Primal Smithy. They each have custom AOE attack and summon minions of the same element as themselves. Upon their deaths they will drop a unique medallion, a special blueprint, and special loot.

Tier 7: Pikkon's Revenge

Pikkon's Revenge is a massive beast that summons Attack Drones to defend itself. With custom AOE attacks and battle music he is a foe to be reckoned with. He is the largest boss to date and will require tribes to cooperate to take him out successfully. Upon his death he drops a mighty tool and you can call yourself the conqueror of beasts... for now.
