Basic Info

The Buffoon Nameless is a carnival style variant of the vanila Nameless creature and is often brighly coloured and wearing a clown mask. The tail is a spiked ball engulfed in flames and currently deals no fire damage to the player. The speed and agility of this creature gives it an edge when needing to flee combat especialy when compared to vanila creatures, including Raptors, Rex, and Therizinosaurs. Unllike most of the Buffoon Creatures, the Namelss has no Area of Effect (AOE) abilitys, rockets, bombs or missiles.

Behaviour

Aggressive by nature, Nameless are always seeking out prey, mainly survivors. They will emerge from anywhere and will start attacking without warning, giving chase until the said survivor either finds shelter, protection, or is very far from them/ at a point where they will lose interest (they will not stop most of the time).

Combat

Buffoon Nameless utilize two main damage attacks, a bite style attack (Primary fire) and a tail whip attack (Secondary fire), the bite provides less damage to the target but has a slight but noticable increased speed per attack. The tail whip provides larger damage but is slightly slower than the bite, with the added disadvantage of needing to line up or position yourself for an attack. The best stratagey for combat is to attack your target to initiate aggro then using your speed work your way arround the creature if possible, using a combination of primary and secondry attacks, in the event of a losing battle you are still able to flee using your higer than average movement speed.

When engaging a Buffoon Nameless the main strategy is to use an attack from above (Flying creatures or by using High-ground) as the Buffoon Nameless has no ranged or AOE abilities and as such cannot attack; This will give you the optimal advantage for dealing the most ammount of damage or provde ample time for taming.

General

While the Buffoon Nameless is fast moving and quick to deal damage, the time and effort needed to go into taming one may be short lived, The creature has little to no jumping capabilities and can easily be overpowered by many of Primal Fears alternate creatures, which can leave you feeling deflated after the time and effort spent taming it. The aggressive nature of this creature makes it a formidable opponent to even the most experienced of ark players, especially if caught off guard. Avoidance is recommended.

This creature can only heal over time, and does not benefit from healing potions, stews or AOE heals, such as that provided by the Primal Sarco. A saddle is not required to ride this creature.
