The Chaos Guardian is a tier 4 boss.

He looks like a bigger Chaos Wyvern with the same attacks (bite, chaos breath and chaos fireballs).

He's protected by a flock of Dark Griffin.

Drops

Drops nothing.

Unlocks the Chaos Orb engram to tame Chaos dinos.

On death there is a very rare chance a tame-able Chaos Wyvern spawns, get your Origin Tranq Arrows ready!

Strategies

There are few key things to have before going into the fight.

1. A very good saddle. Godliath tier is strongly recommended.
2. Potions
3. Primal stimulant for your dino in case the fight takes a while.

The two most commonly used strategies:

1. Use Demonic Creatures. Most people use Para, Thorny, or Kapro. Use the terrain to your advantage and spawn it in a archway it can't pass through and stays aggro'd to you. Then use X attack as it hovers over the arch. Again, using potions as you get attacked. Its always good too if you're in a spot with terrain behind you in case it uses its special attack which has significant knockback. You can practice this approach with Origin Wyvern, summon as many as you want to learn where to spawn the guardian so it stays at the arch.
2. Some have teamed up and one or more on a Demonic Creatures and one or more on a Celestial Indominus Emperor who can ground the guardian while those on demonic creatures deal dps.
3. If you're feeling adventurous; a more rare strategy is to use a Demonic Shinehorn and kite the guardian around while using X attack behind you.
